These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Jeevadhara (“we,” “our,” or “us”), including our website, open-source tools, and community platforms. By using Jeevadhara, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use our services.

1. Purpose of Jeevadhara

Jeevadhara is an open-source, AI-based diagnostic automation project designed to advance healthcare technology. It is provided for research, educational, and developmental purposes. Jeevadhara is not a medical device, not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and should not be relied upon for clinical decision-making. Always seek the advice of a qualified healthcare provider with any questions regarding medical conditions.

2. Eligibility

By using Jeevadhara, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age or are accessing under the supervision of a legal guardian. You also represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

3. Open-Source License

Jeevadhara’s code and models are released under an open-source license (e.g., MIT/Apache 2.0 — [To be finalized]). Your use of the software is additionally governed by the applicable open-source license. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and the open-source license, the license shall control with respect to the software.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree not to misuse Jeevadhara. In particular:

  • You will not use Jeevadhara to process personally identifiable health information unless such data has been fully anonymized in compliance with applicable privacy laws.
  • You will comply with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements in your jurisdiction, including but not limited to data protection laws and healthcare regulations.
  • You will not use Jeevadhara for unlawful purposes, including but not limited to discrimination, fraud, or harm to individuals or groups.
  • You acknowledge that results produced by Jeevadhara may be incomplete, inaccurate, or experimental in nature, and you assume full responsibility for your use of such results.

5. Disclaimers

Jeevadhara is provided “as is” and “as available”, without any warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We make no guarantees regarding the accuracy, reliability, or availability of Jeevadhara, nor that it will be error-free or uninterrupted. Jeevadhara is not intended to be used as a medical device, diagnostic system, or for emergency health situations.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event shall Jeevadhara, its contributors, maintainers, partners, or affiliates be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising from your use of Jeevadhara or reliance on its outputs.

You agree that your sole and exclusive remedy for dissatisfaction with Jeevadhara is to stop using it.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Jeevadhara, its contributors, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your use or misuse of Jeevadhara, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any applicable laws or third-party rights.

8. Third-Party Services

Jeevadhara may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party services, and your use of such services is at your own risk.

9. Changes to the Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time to reflect updates to our project, legal requirements, or practices. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with the effective date. Continued use of Jeevadhara after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Kochi, India.
